MICROPROJECTS

WHAT ARE MICROPROJECTS?

Individuals who come across a situations of need and decide to do something about it, we call Project Managers.

They become Project Managers when they create a 'Project Manager account on this site.

When they log in, they will be able to create a microproject page with some details about the situation of need that has been identified, where suitable with maybe a photo or a video. They can also add a 'request'

For example, last week I met Jose, a Spaniard who runs the Life Home Project in Phuket a kind of home which takes care of orphan children whose parents have died of AIDS. So many people travel to Phuket regularly, from Europe, the Usa and from wealthy Asian economies, where most of us have so much in excess, from shoes to socks to clothes to books, that we don't know how to get rid of the stuff. Wouldn't you want to meet Jose and maybe bring him a bag of something useful, next time you come over?

Project Managers should read their emails frequently, because all responses to their project requests will come trhough emails. Anyone wishing to get in touch and help to to source the requested supply will be able to do so via sending a message via this site, so that your email will not be disclosed and you can remain anonymous unless you publish your contact details on a public area of your pages.

p2pAid Site administrators will try to keep in touch and maintain a connection with all project managers and donors.
